Summaries and Symptoms

Wake on LAN (WOL) is properly enabled for Broadcom NICs that have WOL support. This patch provides the software driver portion of the fix. See bundle ESX350-200903206-UG for the backup tools portion of the fix.

Known issue: Executing the ethtool vmnic* command in the service console displays WOL as supported for all NetXen NICs, even those that do not support WOL.
