Details

Running the command esxupdate query does not show obsolete entries after performing an upgrade using the upgrade fileupgrade-from-esx3.0.x-3.5.0_Update_1.zip from ESX Server 3.0.x to ESX Server 3.5 Update 1. The query does not show the ESX Server 3.0.x base entry.

Solution

After performing an upgrade using the upgrade file upgrade-from-esx3.0.x-3.5.0_Update_1.zip, obsolete entries do not appear when running the command esxupdate query. This issue does not occur when performing an upgrade from ESX Server 3.0.x using an ISO image.
